Do you find it difficult to visit our museum during regular opening hours because of sensory overload? On the first Saturday morning of each month, we offer a sensory-friendly museum experience. During these special openings, visitor numbers are limited, the lighting is adjusted, and a dedicated quiet room is available. To help you prepare and feel at ease, we’ve listed all practical information clearly and simply. This way, you’ll know exactly what to expect and can enjoy part of our permanent collection, the Palace Rooms, in a calm and welcoming environment.

The sensory-friendly museum visit has been developed in collaboration with Stichting Onbeperkt Genieten, an organization that supports museums in organizing sensory-friendly activities. This initiative is made possible with the generous support of the cooperative Rabobank and the Dutch Brain Foundation (Hersenstichting).
