You can book your ticket with time slot in our online ticket shop. A time slot determines your arrival at the entrance of the museum, after which you can stay until closing time. At the counter we only have a limited number of tickets available per time slot. That is why we advise you to buy a ticket in advance via our online ticket shop. Then you also get a nice discount! No, unfortunately purchased tickets cannot be refunded and/or exchanged. Tickets are valid for one year after purchase. However, you can change your ticket to a different date. The confirmation email with your tickets contains a link to change the tickets.

Yes, there is! The MuseumShop is situated near the entrance of the Design Museum Den Bosch. In the shop you will find catalogues, postcards and modern design. The shop has the same opening hours as the museum and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.

It's not possible to buy gift cards for the museum or MuseumShop.

Payments can be done by pin or contactless with your bank card, telephone or wearable. This also applies to the MuseumShop and museum restaurant. We also accept the "Nationale Kunst & Cultuur Cadeaukaart" at the ticket desk.

Yes, there is a free-of-charge secure cloakroom in the form of lockers. Store everything here that is not allowed into the museum, such as coats, backpacks and child carriers on the back.

Yes, prams and buggies are allowed. Baby carriers also, if worn on the stomach.

It is not permitted to enter the museum with skates, Nordic walking poles, tripods, balloons, selfie sticks or skateboards.

A few artworks of Vincent van Gogh are on show in our permanent exhibition Van Gogh in Brabant. There you can find the Peasant Woman Digging and the Collse watermill. Among other things, such as letters, personal documents, pictures, animations and other special objects.

Hieronymus Bosch is an important artist for our museum. Therefore, we regularly show exhibitions that revolve around the Dutch artist. Such as the exhibition Hieronymus Bosch - Visions of a Genius in 2016. Momentarily, we display a few works of his followers in our halls with old art.

It is an old government palace that has been inhabited by, among others, Anton Günther von Holstein, governor of Brabant from 1733 to 1744. You can read the complete history of this old city palace here.
